Portable Four Stroke F20

The New F20 EFI portable outboard, built on the same award-winning platform as the F25, sees many of Yamaha’s larger engine technologies introduced to this smaller engine platform.

The new F20 now comes with both battery and battery-less Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) options, for enhanced fuel economy, power and operating performance.

Other features include the introduction of variable trolling to allow for the perfect lure presentation, increased displacement from 362 to 432 cm3, and a high-output alternator which sees a 60% increase in output to meet additional electronic equipment power demand.

This engine comes in multiple configurations to suit every boating requirement, including battery-less EFI Manual start, electric start with manual start back-up, manual tilt, power tilt, 6 x 3 multi-function tiller handle and remote-control options.

The four-valve, two-cylinder, Single Overhead Camshaft delivers sufficient torque from low to mid speed ranges for a quick response and smooth running.

Key Features F25 BatteryLess Fuel Injection System.jpg

Battery-Less Fuel Injection

The F20's battery-less fuel injection system makes engine set-up more simple and convenient for pull-start models. The system takes into account engine requirements to achieve maximum engine performance including ‘first-time, every-time’ hot and cold starting.

Key Features F25 Digital Network Gauges.jpg

Digital Gauges Compatible

The F20 is fully compatible with Yamaha's Digital Network Gauges (Command Link), giving you the information needed to maximise engine performance and efficiency. This engine is also NMEA2000 compatible allowing the F20 to share information with third party multi-function displays, GPS and fish finders.

Key Features F25 Fresh Water Flushing System.jpg

Fresh Water Flushing System

Simply connect a hose to the easy access, front-mounted connector (optional) - to flush salt and dirt from the outboard without having to run the engine. Flushing the engine after each usage reduces corrosion and extends the engines life.

Key Features F25 High Output Alternator.jpg

High-Output Alternator

A 12 Volt 10 Amp high-output alternator ensures that power is always available to start the engine, even after long periods of idling or running at low revs. This provides extra starting power and delivers sufficient power to run a wide array of on-board electronic devices.
