Safe assembly :
As our rope cutter has sharp edges, you must take certain precautions when handling it. This is why we provide two half-bushings in the kit that provide protection against injury when fitting the device, and protection for the rope cutter in the event it is accidentally dropped.

Safe maintenance :
When your boat is in the dry-dock for maintenance, all you have to do is to fit the two protective half-bushings back onto the rope cutter so you can work in its vicinity without any risk of injury.
