The Rope Cutter's operating principle


Our patented rope cutter, consists of a 316L stainless steel, is a toothed cutting disk.
This disk is fitted onto the propeller shaft or onto a stern drive. A large range of diameters are available.


Its principle is straightforward :
  • Whilst rotating, the propeller catches on and pulls in a cord, cable, wire, etc.
  • These are compressed up against the rope cutter and are immediately cut.
  • This prevents both the propeller shaft from becoming jammed and any major damage.
